This cowboy-themed steakhouse is just what the doctor ordered for those meaty cravings. The Thunder Gun has been open since 1968 and continues to offer its patrons delicious food, friendly and quality service and great value for their money. Prepare to be welcomed warmly and leave happy and content.
The warm atmosphere is enhanced by the extensive and themed menu. Some say that the tasty steaks, ribs and burgers are the best in town, and everyone is welcome to put this to the test. The restaurant has three areas, namely the bustling restaurant itself, the enclosed outdoor terrace, or the pub.
The restaurant is licensed and guests can enjoy a variety of options off the menu, such as the many Quick Draw Starters, Outlaw Salads and Steaks Specialties, Spare Ribs, Chicken and amazing Charcoal Grill varieties. A small seafood selection is available and there is a kiddies’ selection too.
The Thunder Gun also offers a carvery option over the weekends, a Monday Madness carvery special, and a very popular pensioners’ lunch on Tuesdays. Other special offers are displayed on the board inside the restaurant.

• Merge onto Empire Road;
• Exit onto Barry Hertzog Avenue;
• After 2.5 km, turn left onto Judith Road;

• Your destination will be on the left on the corner of Lewisham Road.
