We stayed in Die Berghuisie. Wayne provided excellent directions and a comprehensive and warm welcome. Privacy was ensured with a generous supply of firewood. The cottage is a bit rustic but quite comfortable with a great deck and an outdoor shower. The view does partially overlook the town but I think it's a minor. We'll easily go back, perhaps in the warmer months to fully enjoy the splash pool. Good walking on the farm roads and Lone Tree Hill is a great spot for sun downers, you may even see para-gliders launching, as we did. All we needed extra was a bread/cutting board.

We immediately felt at home in Die Houthuisie, thanks to Wayne, Sundra and Shaun. We loved the tranquility, fresh mountain air and spectacular views. Highly recommended if you want to rest!

What a gem this place is! With fantastic views across the valley, you feel like you're on top of the world on the edge of the mountain. The cabin is well stocked with everything we needed (although a couple more serving spoons would be nice), including things like board games, a fan, heater and extra blankets. The owner was helpful and ready to assist if we needed it, but didn't bother us unnecessarily. The deck, braai area and splash pool were a win, as was the walk through the forest. We will definitely be back!
