Have plugs and a kettle for coffee in the room or implement some sort of a kitchen in the room or on the veranda. It is very difficult to stay over for more than one night with no fridge or facilities to make coffee or to charge your phone. The swimming pool is green and slimy.

Driving down the road to the lodge we never would have thought that we would enter such a welcoming special place. The elephants gathered at the waterhole was an amazing gift. The staff was friendly and wonderful! Our upgrade from a chalet to tent 1 was a joy! The food was excellent and affordable. Complements to the staff. We especially loved the magical night sky accompanied by the sound of talking ellies the evening. We are definitely making Elephant Sands our next stop over again.

The Elephants are the biggest asset of the lodge but are not taking care of.There were no or just some water in the hole whilst ironically people /guests enjoyed themselves in the swimmingpool.poor Elephants tried to access water through the sewage system. A refrigarator in the rooms would be nice.there were no chairs in room 19 and visibility to the waterhole was restricted because of the security fence of the stoop.stairs very steep and the one side of the security fence lacked

Certain of the amenities starts to show wear and the fact that the water is not enough to keep the elephants busy , the chance of them destroying bungalows to get to water increases. This is positive criticism and it remains a must see in Botswana.

What a wonderful experience on natures door with giants browsing your campsite. Close encounters with animals and great facilities. An absolute must visit in Botswana.
